The My Smart City Transport feature, currently only available in Cape Town in partnership with MyCiTi, enables commuters to find and plan their bus routes hassle-free. This is an expanding feature, and we plan to include an even wider range of cities and transport modes in the future.
how it works
Find Your Route in Seconds
The transport feature offers commuters a way to view and plan bus trips – with all available routes and bus timetables available on the My Smart City platform. Commuters can input their current location, where they are going, and include preferred dates and departure times.
The My Smart City app will detect your current location, and from there it will recommend the nearest bus stop, including the walking distance to reach it.

Compare and Filter Your Options
Compare trip prices, check travel times, and filter routes by cost, speed, or earliest departure - all right from the app. Every bus stop is pinned on the map for easy reference.

Those needing wheelchair access will also be able to filter for suitable buses.
